We have developed new corporate identities for a whole host of clients, from start-up companies looking to make an instant impact, to long established traders seeking to refresh their market image. Given the availability of desktop computers and digital technology, the number of elements for a new identity can be reduced to relatively few, mainly centring on stationery, signage and livery, then the logo, typeface and other graphics can be made available electronically, for internal use and application.
Good design - and copywriting - also extends to corporate brochures, product literature and technical documentation, often helping to reduce production costs through enhanced layout and optimum pagination. Starting with a detailed brief, we produce text and layout for initial approval, then proceed to photography, design, artwork and final repro, in carefully regulated stages. Using pdfs to transmit finished page designs via email, we can streamline the whole approvals process, even dealing with clients across the world, as we've done in the past.
Design projects are usually quoted in advance, including all the concept work, finished artwork and scans, any copywriting, plus competitive print prices where appropriate. And, yes, we do stick to our quotes.
