A successful PR programme depends on detailed knowledge of the client company, its products or services, regular meetings to unearth suitable stories and articles, and a continuing dialogue with the target media. Liaising with journalists, monitoring features lists, dealing with third party input and approvals, and arranging support photography takes time too. So, in line with standard industry practice, the implementation of any PR campaign is covered by a consultancy fee, charged monthly in arrears. This funds the agreed output of news releases and feature articles, routine client-agency meetings, creative writing, media liaison, press release production and account administration. We don't charge extra for normal travel or management time during meetings and standard operating expenses like P&P, editorial separations, photography and prints are now included in our Fixed-Price PR package.
